XR MARES BUTTPLATE SIDEMOUNT

Mares introduces its Extended Range (XR) Gear Line. Bridging the gap between recreational and technical diving. Transform you harness into a side-mount set-up with this butt-plate! The butt-plate is made from 1200D bulletproof” ballistic nylon with a Polyphrene hydro-drainage comfort padding. 4 holes along the bottom allow for the mounting of any harness as well as adding accessories. Provides the proper amount of rigidity to hold tanks in position and eliminate sag. Two stainless steel 316 marine grade handles are used for tank attachment. Allows divers to transform their existing harness and buoyancy compensating wing into a rig capable of side-mounting tanks.
