The Flexa suits are the result of an effort meant to obtain the widest variety of combination of steamer, shorty, and vest with only 5 items.
The steamers are available in three thickness families: for cold water the 8.6.5, for temperate water the 5.4.3, for warm water the 3.2.2.
No detail has been overlooked: front silver zipper with customized closure, zipper pull with integrated whistle, and the exclusive Back Protection System, an additional layer of neoprene on the inside of the rear panel of the suit.
Two advantages result from this: a higher thermal insulation (total thickness in the area is 10mm) and a cushioning effect in the area where the tank rests against the diver’s back for more comfort and support.

- THERMO PLUSH: This internal fabric dedicated to the inside panel of suits is soft, smooth, durable and developed to increase free movement.Ideal to guarantee extreme mobility, its refined finish prevents the suit from retaining water with the double benefit of keeping you warmer and making the suit dry faster.
- BACK PROTECTION SYSTEM: The Back Protection System takes inspiration from our BC knowledge.We thought to add a wide additional neoprene layer in the lumbar region. Benefits are multiple, specifically by adding extra warmth in a zone that is usually cold sensitive.Extra protection for better comfort when diving and also less empty spaces for disturbing water sacks.
- CUSTOM CLOSURE: This neck closure system allows for the easy customization of neck fittings. Beginning this year, Mares provides a complete new style of velcro tag molded in rubber, to minimize snagging of the plush or neoprene. Back and front zips with skin-on-skin zipper seals for a superior water barrier.
- SUPRATEX KNEE PAD: Knee protection made of anti-scratch polyurethane not only looks sharp, but is engineered for high strength and protection without compromising flexibility.
